Chey-Anne Wilson, MS, is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist based in Dayton, Ohio. With a background in psychology from Wright State University and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Capella University, Chey-Anne has always been deeply committed to the values of family, integrity, and the transformative power of therapy.

As the first Black Marriage and Family Therapist in Dayton with her own private practice, established in 2022, she brings a unique perspective to her work, offering a wealth of experience across diverse populations and socioeconomic backgrounds. Chey-Anne’s career began in 2012 as a Family Support Specialist, and she has since worked in various roles within the mental health field, including Qualified Mental Health Specialist, Intensive In-Home Counselor, and School-Based Therapist. Throughout her journey, she has been driven by a passion for helping individuals and families navigate complex emotional challenges and find their path to healing.

Over the years, Chey-Anne has developed a specialized niche in intensive therapy for couples and families, rooted in her deep passion for getting to the root of problems and creating long-lasting change. Drawing from her extensive experience in high-intensity settings, Chey-Anne offers one- and two-day therapy intensives that help clients address issues like relationship struggles, family conflicts, trauma, anxiety, and emotional healing in a highly focused and transformative way. This approach allows clients to make significant progress in a short period of time, laying the groundwork for deeper, long-term healing and growth.

Chey-Anne specializes in working with adults, couples, and families, offering a collaborative, holistic, and emotion-centered approach. Through evidence-based techniques and personalized strategies, she empowers clients to build healthier relationships, restore emotional wellness, and increase their self-awareness, self-expression, and self-worth.

Her approach emphasizes early intervention, education, and a deep belief in the inherent potential of each individual to grow and heal. Over the years, Chey-Anne has helped countless clients achieve meaningful progress—whether it’s through improved communication, trauma recovery, or finding peace within themselves. She is passionate about advocating for the unheard and empowering others to take control of their own healing journey.
